curious if anyone has every heard of taking the rear door handles out of a 88-91 civic 4dr and putting them into a hatchback to give it a cleaner look by shaving the key hole?

 

yup, a few people on this forum have done that. its nothing new to see around here.

 

i think ive seen that before... i seen someone with a no key hole door handle, and i know it wasnt shaved because it was still fantory color (primer looking)... im pretty sure its off a 4door civic.. because its only 4 door which the rear doors dont have key holes.. but not sure.... nice and a clean look..

 

my bro did a couple of weeks ago, its not that hard, patience is the key, u just swap the holder thing, can't really expainit, you'll see when u get the thing out. good luck, it looks way better

 

Ya... I admit it would be cleaner...

But you know you would wish it was never done when your battery dies and you can't access your door locks!
