When I get my shell I think I am going to paint it flat back inside and out. How do I prepare the car for the flat black paint job?

The flat black sticks very well to the primer coat, so just make sure you get a good first coat down before you start with the black.

 

Sand it all down. Then use tar/bug remover then primer it well and paint it.

 

first get a 350 grit sand paper and wet sand it. Then get a 400 grit and go over the whole car. (wet sanding of course). Then feel if your prep work is smooth ( when the clear coat/gloss is all gone), then when you think your ready... tape up the things you dont want painted.

 

what primer should i use if i am using the same paint in the picture?

use krylon or automotive paint.
