Type R motor in a 94 civic...Civic or Type R exhaust???

Default Type R motor in a 94 civic...Civic or Type R exhaust???

I have a 94 Civic EX and I'm putting a Type R motor in it....I am unsure about what kind of exhaust i should use....Type R or Civic exhaust???

Stock Civic exhaust will kill your power. Go with Type-R exhaust, slight modification will be necessary to make it fit.

It has been a while since I did my exhaust, but I think that the B-pipe (pipe between cat and muffler) is too long and has to be shortened. Go to a muffler shop with exhaust in hand, and they can make it fit for you, no problem.

I thought you were talking about an aftermarket exhaust. Yes definately dont use a stock Civic exhaust on a typeR motor. If you buy a catback one made for a Civic it will fit with no modifications though.

yea its going to be an APEXI N1 aftermarket exhaust....so if i get the N1 for my car, it will fit the type r motor no problem????

what i do is when i swap in a b series motor, i buy a b16 header, civic exhaust and everything bolts up perfectly
