Default Shopping for a Lude

Hey guys...

My GS-R was stolen last week and I'd like to stay in the Honda family so I've been looking at some 98-00 Ludes here in KC. I test drove a modified 00 SH with ATTS. I loved the way it handled, but I could tell it was driven hard so I'm waiting for another one to come around.

What are some of the things to look for? Some people have told me that Preludes are expensive to service/maintain. Is this true?

Are Preludes pretty popular among thieves? I don't want another car stolen. I would definately invest in a security system, but that doesn't always mean it is safe from thieves.

I love the way the OEM body kit looks. It is nearly impossible to find one for the 98-01 Integra. Are they also hard to find for Preludes?

Thanks for your help

aight, they are not expensive to maintain, because if you beat on it, well, you will have to fix it. When you check out ludes go through every pieced of the exterior and look for the vin sticker on doors, hood, trunk, gas door. this way, if one piece doesn't have one, you screwed with a wrecked car. Also, try to buy a non modified prelude with base engine non-atts if you are not boosting, atts not friends with boost, and base prelude 5 speed is great for boost and the whole thing.

If you are looking for looks and handling response SH, if not base 5 speed, not ss because i did that mistake and can't wait to find a base 5 speed lsd tranny.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
