Default Shaving tail lights

I have a question. I have a 91 teg and i was wanting to change the tail lights to a different makers tail lights. They are smaller then my stock tail lights. How to i go about changing them. Do i need to body fill the whole thing then cut out what i need to make the new tail lights fit. Thanks

i wouldn't body fill it.....

if you're needing to fill a large area, you should use some sheetmetal and weld it in there, then use filler to cover gaps/smooth it out.

Why does your teggy need a shave? how old is it? If it hasn't reached puberty then it doesn't need it.
