first off just so i dont get SLAMMED with the "do a search" crew I DID search for like 10-15 minutes prior to this, not only here but other sites to, archived and new posts, most are about the damn valve cover lol,

anyway i need to know the correct torque specs for a 1st gen b16 been messin around with it lately doin alot of random upkeep on the motor, so i thought i would do a valve job to, if anyone can give me good details on EXACTLY what to do and torque specs and everything i would apreciate it greatly,

Torque specs on the nut is 14ft-lbs

 

thanks, anyone with a semi specific way to do this, not having ever done it before i wanna make sure im doin it right, i was thinking just to back the nut off, then tighten it back down to specs, is this it? anything else i should do while im in there? i sure as hell dont wanna mess anything up lol (i dont think anyone does)
