I found a really good wax/swirlmark remover for black ITR's
I bought this car in black with the intention of keeping it for a long time. I have used many different car waxes and scratch removers but while at a local automotive store I picked up a tube of Meguires scratch remover. It comes in a black tube and it works wonders. I goes on really easy and it actaully hides the small imperfections that occur just from washing and driving the car. I would highly recommend it. If you try it out let me know how you like it.
i believe that you are talking about scratch x
ive used meguiers swirl mark remover, and it does work although i havnt used a differnent brand so i cant compare finsish product.
overall it looks good for about a day or two if the weather is fine

Thanks for the tip. You know we black R owners gotta stick together! Since the CW crowd think they're the "elite" Type R owners and the "Arrest-me" yellow guys get all the attention. While our black underdogs don't even get noticed! he he j/k

If you use the rest of McGuiar's stuff and high quality 100% cotton terrycloth towels, you will have fewer scratches from washing and general cleaning. I use McGuiar's #00 Car wash, and it is by far the best I have ever used, even better than Zymol Auto Shampoo, which is very good too. I use McGuiars #9 Swirl remover, #26 Hi-Tech Yellow wax and I haven't glazed it yet, but I will be using McGuiar's glaze when I do my next waxing.
Make sure you use the clay bar before glaze and wax.
