Thanx but do you know where i could get rare or hard to find wheel locks because i know a lot of ppl that got their hands on the keys to take off most basic wheel locks and almost any factory/dealer wheel lock so i dont want to take any chances you know.

I'm satisfied with my gorilla lug nuts/wheel locks. I've had two attempts in which they removed the center cap of the rim, but couldn't take the rim off. If someone really wants your rims they will take them, or even your car for that matter. A friend of mine who had wheel locks had his konig appeals stolen ,when he parked his car by a subway station in brooklyn, and when he got back from work his car was sitting on the rotors.

I'm afraid that there are no wheel locks that can protect your from having your rims stolen. I mean, they could cut of the axels which they did in my friends case, and they can freeze the wheel lock and break it that way, or even worse steal your car.

I guess the best way to prevent theft is to drive on stock wheels.

well you have to understand that u are talking bout brooklyn , some ppl make a living by selling stolen parts so theyll do whatever it takes but you cant take any chances either way. Around where i live the only thieves are pretty much some desperate teenagers that woud never try to do something like they did to your friend , all they do is try and take the rims but as soon as they see wheel locks they walk away. So you think i should get Gorilas or is there other good stuff out there?

not that i ever used to do anything underhanded, but a impact socket, a 3lb sledge and air impact take off ANY locking wheel lock

just make sure your insurance is paid up.
