anyone bored out a b-tb to fit a d-intake manifold?
my friend did this on his sohc vtec engine, he did notice a little more power. people say the pick up 3-5 whp, by using a bigger(bored out tb). i'll find out for my seld, when i put my bored out gsr tb in my crx!
They should both fit a Z6 or a Y8 intake manifold just fine. The A6 has a different bolt pattern so it won't work.

I guess I dont understand the title?? Why would you bore out a bigger TB to fit on a smaller IM?? I could see maybe boring out the IM to fit the TB but not the other way around??
thanks for the info, i was going to port an ls on a d16 intake, not to hard, but it looked huge compared.
I've been reading on the perf-honda page someone mating a b16 intake manifold to a d-manifold. It looks worth while if you are going turbo like i am, but not for a while
