zc, b16,b17,b18a,b18b,b18c1,b18c5,h22 pretty much any one of those motors can go into that car if you wanted it too. and if its not a dx then the si motors would work as well obviously.

I think I even saw some CRX with a rear engine conversion sporting a VTEC V-6 from an NSX.... wasn't in on Super2ner or some dumbass show like that??
God I'm in love with that idea.

I just picked up a 97 civic ex motor (Y8) for my 91 hatch for $500 with hydro tranny....probably going to use an lx tranny I have and sell the hydro to save me a bit of dough. It is a vtec engine puts out about 125hp or so. Not the fastest thing around but there is alot of aftermarket support for it. I was going for reliability over power with this one. But it will be a HUGE improvement over my stock STD motor....I was going to go ZC but I have heard alot of mixed results...and the b16 was way too expensive for me. The d16z6 or y8 are good swaps that drop right in wothout changind mounts and such....only problem is hooking up the vtec but I have heard it is not too bad..

i got a b series swap in my ef9 with hasport linkage and hate it. basically a jdm replica so it favors rhd cars. i broke my pressure plate twice from it. i go from first, to second, then back to first. my first gear is actually more over than straight up which is where third usually is on a LHD

i have put in two of the hasport linkage kits and have great results from them (they don't pay me to say this), including 9400 rpm shifts in my b16a when i had that hooked up....good feel to them, at least for me
