Default Need help wiring summit racing air fuel gauge

Here is my predicament. I recently bought this summit air fuel gauge. The guy who I ordered it from at summit said my oxygen sensor would work. A week later when I recieved the gauge in the mail I read the instructions and it said I need an oxygen sensor with a 0-1 volt signal. Now from my limited expierience with electronic my first guess would be that I cannot install this on my current oxygen sensor setup, a one wire sensor. I am assuming this sensor creates a resistance to ground. That is all I know. What I don't understand is how to get a 0-1 volt signal from this sensor. Any diagrams, links, answers, theories, smart *** comments about my grammar, anything would be a step in the right direction for my engines current state of tune.

it will still work if I am not mistaken. I had a friend that had one on his zc motor and that was a single wire o2 sensor.

Hmm okak. I think i am just going to run a wire to the harness side of the o2 sensor.

Well, I disconnected the original wire I had going to the wire at the computer and soldered in a new lead on the harness side of the oxygen sensor lead (before the grounded sheath, in the engine bay.) and it works great now! I am getting better and better and hacking into my cars vitals I am now a complete, and satisfied person whom only spent a mere $30 for the knowledge of my exhaust gases (somewhat precise, but not really )
