Thanks! It is going to be my street legal drag car. I will be adding a few interior additions ie., partial front plastic and seats. I am just waiting on the engine to get back from GE.

This is going to be a street car...kinda...but not my daily driver. As far as cutting the bars to go through the dash...I am happy with this. Would have been a real pain in the *** to have to weld it all up....probrably wouldn't of even been a ble to get the welder up there with the windsheild in.
as soon as you get the interior finished post up some pictures so we can see what it looks like completed on the interior. Are you going with boost? or N/A??? probably boost it would look like, i dont think in a teg that N/A could take you that fast.
wow ryan...the more and more i read your posts the more impressed i become...looks dam sexy...i love gen 2's tooo!!!! is there a such thig as a race/street car...i dont think so...in my neck of the woods we refere to the as street terror's...cars that dont belong...but just kill everyone else! nice work
You know it's incorrectly installed, right?
The bar that you have sitting on top of your dash should've been placed behind it to prevent the firewall from collapsing.
Not to mention the PROPER way to install any rollcage is to take out the dash.

Well I hope you have some credentials to back this up cause the guy who built this has been doing this for 14+ years. I could of put the bar low but then I would be racking the **** outta my shins all day and to me that =
I could have also put it in front of the dash but then I wouldn't be a ble to remove my guages if need be. It was put there no solve these problems as well as to prevent the firewall from collapsing. It only sits MAYBE a 1/2 an inch higher where it is at right now. Could you please tell me why taking the dash out is the ONLY way to properly install a rollcage?
