What is the best race gas for 86mm vtec 14:1 compression full race N/A motor? What will be HP difference on gas? What HP could I expect from this motor?

if you are asking questions like that and trying to build a 14:1 compression motor with an 86mm bore, you have LOTS of research to do. I understand that a person needs to start somewhere, but I'm not gunna call NASA and say "yea, im running one of ur jet engines in my 86 civic AWD wagon turbo super duper...what kinda 0-60 times can I expect?"

I'm going to say Dave's Insanity Sauce... that will power any motor without detonating
Noob... don't **** people off on the HT boards, your **** will never get answered or the info you get will be wrong. There are a lot of high and mighty people on here and if you **** em off, you're not going to get treated fairly when you go to make a purchase. "You musn't **** with the HT"

Mesquiteman,
It looks like your from phoenix, so you have a few choices. You can get VP fuel at the track. Then use C-14 or C-14+. Or Saad Saad's gas station sells some type of race gas. Me personally, I take a trip out to the indian reservation and get 116 octane "Trick" fuel at the pump. We used it on our All motor CRX. Never detonated.

c-14 is a good start .. usally if you good to a good dyno shop they could tell you after the dyno were higher gas may help you. with higher gas there are other things that come into play, so take time, do you r&d and talk to people who are out there running ...
