I got hit by a bus
I was double parked on my block waiting for the guy in front of me to leave the parking spot so that I may park. The driver was doing over 45mph in the 30 zone because it took him half the block to stop, it was raining, and well, the pictures speak for themselves...

i drive tow trucks and **** when im not at school and they take forever and a day to stop. that doesnt necessarily mean he was doing over 45.. not saying your wrong but just saying people have no clue how long it takes to stop those bastards. that bus isnt too too big but still.. im not sure but i think double parkin is still illegal but i would think judgement is in your favor since u were just waiting for a guy to move...

were you signaling your intent to park?
and had you just stopped (and was it a sudden stop?), or were you there for a few moments waiting before he noticed you and tried to stop the bus?

Damn where the hell have I been, when did you get a lude.. It looks nice man. I will come and check you out soon just waiting for a few more items till the hatch is complete. Sorry about the accident though, but it just looks like time for new parts.

One time, I was walking on the side walk, kinda close to the curb, and a Transit Bus, drove past me and hit my arm with its mirror. Luckily it scared me more then it hurt me.

If it takes that long to stop a bus, he has no business doing 45mph past a double parked car in the rain, period.
I was in neutral with my hazards on for a few minutes as close to the parked car as I could have possibly been.

whacha doin but still I say youll win more than him. As a driver it was the other guys responsibility to know when and how to make safe clearance around parked cars. Boy you better say your kneck hurts and the car jerked to the side therefore hence giving you whiplash. I would love to see what a prelude looks inside the interior. If someone ever tagged me like that I would be so infuriated and burnt up he would be layed out before the cops come. I hate crap like that thats why I stay inside when it rains.

I really dont care about proving how fast he was going. The bottom line is that he hit me. It wasnt dark, my hazards were on, it was raining and I was parked as close to the parked car as possible.
I really wasnt too upset after it happened. But my friend who was with me was pissed and wanted to kill the guy.
I figured that when the fact that I got hit by a bus sinks in, I will be pretty upset, especially if I have to pay something. That why when I was talking to the cop, he left the drivers license on his lap and I memorized his address...just in case.
