1997 GSR, Question
I know that you guys say get an ODB1 GSR, that they respond better to mods, but I found a 97' Milano Red GSR for 7,500 with only 85k miles. Now i know that its ODB2, but this thing should perform about the same as all other gsr's, 94-95, and the 98 and ups right? Or is 97' not a good year? I know it has the older style front end, thats pretty much the only difference between this and the newer gsr's, correct?
yea thats sorta how i was thinkin, which is why i asked, but i mean, 7500 is a good deal for 85k miles, but i found a 98, do you think 12k is a good price for a 98 GSR with 73k miles?
just go with the 97 man, its a GSR for 7.5k. Even though if you keep looking you can always find a deal on one. Make sure its maintained well and check everything on it. There is nothing wrong with a 96-97 GSR. It still has the same engine and its not like the 98 and up changes make a ton of difference. The only people that recognize the difference are Honda/Acura junkies that really know what they are talking about. Go with the car if its a good deal and you like it.

You can change it to obd1 later if you want.

I haven't had a chance to look at the 97' yet, but i've talked to the guy and he said its in excellent mechanical condition, it has grey cloth interior, completely stock. If that thing doesn't end up being nice, what do you guys think about the 98' for 12k w/ 73k miles, does that sound like a good deal or too much?
