Hey.. i Thought Ls Only Came In Auto? Does IT And If So how Much would it cost to go from a Auto To A Manual.. sorry this may be a stupid question but i am just getting into this car sence.

no man, it comes in both manual and automatic and it is expensive and time consuming to do the swap. dont get me wrong it has been done by many ppl though so if you are really interested do a search on it

well your info says your 16 so i doubt youre really mechanically inclined....so id suggest to sell your car and get a 5spd.

all integras come standard w/manual transmisions, auto is an option for the rs/ls/gs...

 

sell it and get a 5 spd/.

As everyone else said, the LS comes in auto and manual. I have an auto but since my car is my "friend" I am willing to put the effort and time into converting it. I'll work, get the money, and when the time comes the job will get done. Btw it costs about $3000 to have a professional mechanic do it for you. If you can do it yourself it should be about $2000 probably.

 

I don't think it's fair to say JUST cause he is 16 then he is NOT Mechanically Inclined.

I think he needs to go to the Book store and do some REQUIRED READING!!!.

I have seen several threads from this User about Engine, Tranny, Brakes, etc etc What next? Steering wheel? I appreciate Being a Newbie to the scene and such but you can't learn everything from the Internet forum.

Go to the Book store and Pickup the Honda/Acura Performance books I think there are two or three. ALSO pickup the Honda engine builder's guide. This will give you good basic INFORMATION if you are SERIOUS about learning about Hondas and their engines.

Okay I am a JERK I am an *******, call me what you want. I am not trying to bust your ***** just trying to pass on GOOD SOLID info and IF you are really serious then these books will help you understand a bit and then if you have further EDUCATED questions then by all means post them IN ONE THREAD. Post count is not going to get you off trial user status.

Learn to use the SEARCH function SEARCH in the ARCHIVES cause ou will turn up more hits. I know the Search function on this Forum is not the best but all the questions you have asked have ALL been asked atlesat 1/2 dozen times before.
