What are you driving???
how many of you Prelude owners drive your car every day to and from work? how many of you have modded preludes or stock preludes and also own a daily driver? what is your daily driver?
i don't have a daily driver persay, but i don't drive my car everyday either...

My Prelude is my daily driver but I try and respect my baby as much as i can
i'd like to get somewhat of a "beater" to drive around more and preserve the Lude...I probably will sometime.

My car is a daily driver with a rollcage and 5pt harnesses in it =~) No airbags/bolted sunroof/kill switch/firebottle.. Im all set for a tractor trailer to run me over =~)
I have a 1 yr old prelude with almost 50k miles. Can anybody beat that? About 20k of those miles were with a fire breathing turbo (actually a gas spewing turbo, capable of fire, from running a bit rich) and I intend to keep driving up and down California harassing BMW M3's & M5's (only because I can't afford one and they are soooo beautiful). I love driving my car, I go up to LA just to get parts, meet people and be on the road. I am not trying to rake up the mileage, I just love my car.....
I drive my lude every day, no mods...yet. I also have a 1972 MG Midget that I like to drive every now and then, when it's not busy rusting.
I know, it's a very strange combination of cars...oh well...........

Let me ask you a question, mr midget driver (joeluvesludes)..... Aren't those tiny cars a blast to drive in curvy roads? My cousin had a few MGs, not migets and going through turns was always right on. It must be their weight, because the car would lean quite a bit, yet stick to the road. Anyway, I love my car....

I drive my **** all the time. I can't right now since I'm still trying to finish installing my new motor. I haven't been able to drive it for the past 3 months. I miss it alot though
My'ne is going to be a "drive to work everyday" car. (95 'lude vtec) I just got it last week and right now I'm doing some bodywork on it and will paint it myself next week. ( I'm thinking of a really, really dark purple) I've just bought my '17
rims, DC header & cat back, coil overs,AEM cold air intake, and as soon as I figure out what I want as regards nitrous, A ZEX or Sneeky pete NOS system that I'll put on after I'm done painting.

Yeah, the MG is really fun to drive. The car weighs in at 1400 pounds, and it makes about 65 horses at the crank...woo hoo!! Honestly though, it loves the corners...but the prelude does too. On some days it's a tough decision to make.
I have a 99 prelude w/ the following:
Stock Airbox..
K&N Drop-In..
Removed Intake Resonator..
DC Sports Stainless Steel 4-2-1..
GReddy SP/BL Exhaust..
Stock Cat..
17*7 Volk GT-N 2pc. wheels..
Bridgestone so2 pole positions..215*45's
Spoon Sports ff&rr strut tower bars..
Tein HA's..
12kg ff & 8kg rr spring rate(s)..
Set at 12 and 10
I have 56K miles on and love it, Im hoping to get another motorcycle soon so I don't keep raking up the miles on it, and so I can beat the traffic! But, we'll see, so in the meantime here's a picture, sorry about the quality, I was experimenting w/ night time photography!

What is the difference in engine sound between a stock airbox with K&N without a resonator versus a prelude with a CAI???
also i am not near the LA area, sorry!

The sound is the same, its just a little quieter than an AEM. I had an AEM and it was really LOUD especially in VTEC, and when blipping the throttle on downshifts.
But, you can't beat a $40 intake!
