are there any recalls or common problems with ITR's any year???
The only problem that I have come across, is that while road racing, the inner-rear pads wear at an angle. So basically, the right side of the pad is gone, and the left side is barely worn.
I know some people were having problems with shifting back to 1st gear when at a stop sign or stop light. Other than that, they are very well built cars - even after beating the crap out of them on the road course.

This isn't really a problem, but if we are listing the little stupid things that the car does, heres another. The glove box pops open by itself a lot.
Common problems....
Ricer 16 year olds....all those should be recalled. Affects all year ITR's but mostly the Yellow ones.
Seriously, I hear about the 01 Synchros are common

1. Bad batches of pressure plates on 97's. Causes clicking sound and felt through clutch pedal while depress and releases.
2. Also pwr window motors which doesn't stop so loud clunk at end of window travel hitting mechanical stop.
3. Locking screw loosen out in rotor inside distributor cap and end up destroying distributor.

LOL! Yep the damn glovebox. Flies open when you do a hard launch/burnout. The rotor screw. Heat shields on cat tend to come loose and rattle (this of course is only a problem if you have a cat). I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
Bad Paint for 01 Year Doesn;t seem like they put on enough coats(Bumpers Show through paint),Paint Peeled on Fender, Hard shifting into First sometimes, Clutch Froze once already at 3500 miles, Missfire in Cylinder 3 Kept comming up New Injector seemed to Fix it. All in all i've had bad luck with this car was in the shop Every Thursday being fixed when i first got it was almost ready to shove the car up my salesmen ***, but last 2,000 miles have been fine no problems, and Man do i love this little Car though it would be hard to part with.
ITR owners do not overate the car. Other drivers over rate the car. There are many hybrid Honda's and other vehicles that are faster than the ITR. But for the price, reliability, performance, etc. the ITR is in another league. But, with the new performance compacts on the market (Celica GTS, Subaru WRX, Nissan Sentra SER Spec V, Ford Focus (170hp version), etc. etc.) the ITR seems to be just a so-so car. If you think the ITR is overrated, go to an autocross, in the New Jersey Region, ITR's Pax top 10 almost always. ITR's raw times are top 20 always. All this from a car that costs less than $25,000 and no modifications needed.

On the window problems mentioned - windows moving slowly when wet and sometimes stopping with a clunk may be a general Integra problem. My old LS used to do the same thing.

the only problem i had with a trunk light was when i had a bsketball in my trunk and it was rolling around back there and when i got out, the trunk light had popped loose from its housing and was just hanging by wires...easy enough to pop it back in there....my passenger side rear speaker cover did the same....
I think all Hondas have the first-gear thing, although it's more noticeable on my R than on my old Accord. Usually letting the clutch out, then in or shifting to fourth will take care of it.
My gripe - the wiper arms fade quickly. Mine look like *** after ~18 months.
