I had these Si door panels for a while now. I finally decided to pu them on. They will definitely fit, but they are different on the bottoms. The seatbelt set-up on my DX won't fit with the Si door panels. Anybody else run into this problem??
Do I just need a set of seatbelts from an Si?
What should I do?
i don't want harnesses, i want it as close to stock as possible.

what do you mean there different? I have an 89 DX and a set of 90 Si door panels. I don't have them on, but looking at them they look like they would work. What do you mean there different? Can you explain it more?

 

what year is your DX and what year of Si did the panels come out of?

88-89 = seat belts in the pillar
90-91 = seat belts in the door

Is this your problem?

 

my driver side door panel is off a 90-91 si and my car is 88 but i put it on anyways cause my old door panel was fubar. looks kinda ghetto but o well

Thats probably his problem.

 

i got a 89 dx and my seatbelts are on the door not the pillars

 

I thought 88 crxs were the only year that had seatbelts on the pillar.

All 88's had the pillar mounted seatbelts and the 89 HF's had them all other USDM CRX's had the door mounted ones.
As for your problem I dont see why you have one?? I put 91 Si door panles on my 91 DX??

i htink so too...my 89 Si had them on the door....i got some 88 Si panels that mount the seat belt to the pillar if you're interested

 

88-89 = seat belts in the pillar
90-91 = seat belts in the door

its different when you put it on the seat belt are at different places..you can rig it..i seen it in my friend 88 dx CRX but its HIDEOUS im sorry to say.

I bought the door panels on EBAY
they were from a 91, I think
they're different
my car has the seatbelts in the door
the Si panels I have aren't for the seatbelts in the door

Do you think i can just get the other seatbelts and mount them in stead?
