Head unit installation '94 accord HELP
How to get the old head unit out ie taking the dash apart. How to put the new unit in. Also how to remove the rear speakers and put the new ones in.
TO get the old head unit out, you will need to remove the armrest first (3 screws - 1 is underneath the cup holder and the other 2 are under the arm rest sotrage bin cover). Then work your way forward removing the black trim peice around your center console. Once this is out, removing your head unit should be a piece of cake.
For the rear speakers, get in your trunk and unscrew 4 nuts to remove the OEM speaker grilles. Then remove 4 more nuts to get the old speaker out.

to remove the old deck, grab the deck and pull on it the bracket will bend. you will see to screws on the side, undo those, disconnect the pocket, then you will see 2 screws holding the bracket to the car, undo those then remove.. trust me this works, I do it all the time putting radios in accords..
MY 5TH GEN CAME WITH FACTORY PIONEER 6X9's.
CHECK & SEE IF YOURS ARE THE SAME.
If they are then i would just leave them there. they were made just for that model car & aftermarket will not sound the same.
