Default i want to sound stock!

ok well my car is louder than ****! and i want to make it a sleeper (as soon as my turbo is all put toether.) but it won't be a sleeper if it is louder than hell! here is my setup now.
chakira headers, hiflow cat. 2 1/4 piping into a flowtec glasspack (burnt out.) i am looking for a muffler or resanator that will make it sound almost stock?? then i will get and old si exhaust tip and weld that on so it will look stock too. what is a good? silencer, or resonator i could replace my glass pack with to make it sound stock???
thanks

wow that setup is exactly what you don't want to do. The hi flow cat really doesn't help at all. now when you put the turbo on that will quiet it down quite a bit. If i were you i'd run another muffler in your system possibly after the cat if possible or a resonator. Whatever floats ur boat. The best way to have stock sound is to have stock exhaust, yes you sacrifice some HP, but if your motors already powerful, it'll be hardly noticeable.

yeah, the turbo really quiets down the exhaust. just cuz the exhaust gases go through the turbine before getting exhaled. plus, if you're looking for a stock look...get 2.25 (maybe 2.5 depending on how much boost your running/planning to run) a resonator and an es oval muffler. it comes with a "show quality" polished muffler, but most, like myself paint em black

i've heard you can put a moroso high flow exhaust inplace of your resinator to quiet it down.

Get the HKS catback. I have a friend who has it on his b16 ef hatch with DC Sports header and hiflow cat and you can hardly hear the damn thing at WOT. plus it looks stock too!

Ehh, you could just leave it on there and make everyone think all you had was a rice pipe, and then you could smoke them.
