Hey just wondering how is the track out there also? Never been and Im just wondering if its really worth it to travel like 3hrs to Bakersfield for just a one day event....who's all goin? Maybe I could be convinced to go, if a lot of people are goin.........

This is my home town, and the track is in excellent condition, alot of records have been set here and the track staff always makes sure the track is in A#1 shape. I give FAMOSO, John@M&H

Hey guy's I have been hit with alot of PH - Calls about the Battle of the Imports. Yes their is a race and here it is.

Vendor's Gate opens @ 12:00 noon

Racer's Gate opens @ 2:00 pm

Tech opens @ 2:15 pm

Spectators Gate opens @ 5:00 pm

Time Trials @ 6:00 pm

Eliminations @ 8:15 pm

Just to let you racer's know how good these guy's are, they start preping the track down two day's before and up too race day, and they wash the track down by hand yes by hand. They want to make sure you have the best of the best when it comes to a track on race day. John@M&H

I wish I still lived in Delano....i would be there in a heartbeat. They have so many import events at Famoso now. I remember the first import event there was in 1995. It was the Hi-Tech Street Shootout or something like that. Those were the days when Tony Fuchs, Myles Bautista, David Shih and Junior Asper were among the fastest.
