Trying to choose a cat-back
i have a 97 lude and im looking to get a cat back system , ive narrowed it down to Greddy EVO,Tanabe Super Medallion,Apexi N1, does anyone have these installed on there car?if so hows the noise level and power increase?i dont want a super loud annoying exhaust , but ill sacrifice a little noise for more power if i have to.Thanks
search first...........
I have greddy evo, i like it a lot. The noise is deep and its never raspy or overly loud. I have had it for almost 1.5 years and I enjoy driving my car more since.
I got it off the classifieds here for 250 + my stock exhaust. I hav'nt had my car dynoed but according to the mags it gives like 5-7 to the wheels(depending on conditions).
Mugen is a little pricey but its supposed to be the quietest and have good gains.
A lot of people like the Apexi N1, its also the loudest but it comes with a silencer.
But SEARCH for more specifics/opinions

tein, have you considered Thermal? i am not sure exactly how loud they are in comparison to the Greddy evo..but they have a deep and throaty rumble, and are only loud-ish after the 2ndaries open up.
