best gsr suspension upgrade for under $1000????????
I would recommend a type R rear sway bar and leave the front stock. Then get a set of Koni yellows and the springs or coilovers of your choice.

how bout APEXi world sports coilovers they are a nice ride not bouncy and with the money left over i think (depending on where u get them from) have enough money left over to get an ITR sway bar

CUT SPRINGS. Those handle WAY better than that shitty Mugen low down, Yo. I just cut them in half (about 4.5" drop) and bounce wit it.

I've seen H&R coilover setups go for $899. I'd get that and an ITR rear sway bar.
If you haven't already, change your stock tires!...that's probably the best suspension upgrade you can buy for under $1k.

Tires i think should be your first thing, because with all the suspension you do, it isnt gonna be fully effective if your still slipping and sliding everywhere

Don't even start with tires... it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. Obviously if you have a deep wallet, you can get some really nice grippy performance tires, or if you a teenager with meager income like me, you get some Kumho's that try to hold on not nearly as well as the SP8k's that the car had when I bought it...
