Default d series question

hi, i am new to posting in this portion of honda tech. i have a dx motor. and i will be swapping this motor before I install my custom turbo kit. the question i have is would it be better for me to build a 1.6 dx motor and use that with the dx gear tranny that I have or just swap the whole thing out and use a stock ex motor

You could build the dx, but the dx tranny is a dog. considering how inexpensive an ex motor is (compared to b-series), I would recommend just getting a complete ex. If you go this route, you get the better tranny, head, and IM.

awww they dont like the DX

but hey they are right, in order to make it fast you need to do more work to it...plus most likely you will swap most of the ex parts onto it.....IM,TRANNY, sometimes HEAD.....

make your own choice....but like they said EX motors are very cheap soo that shouldnt be a problem

Do the EX and use your DX for a backup if it's your daily.
