I think that we all need to take a stand on what rules are bs and eliminate them in some way ...
I you think about it what racers are making the rules , Most people in power have never street raced or put a motor in at 2:00 am.. They have never worked all night to make it to a race, then to only get shot down but the tech guys , or some new rule that has just been put it to play ....Most people in power are just business men!!! they only care about numbers....

Attention NHRA/NOPI/IDRC/BATTLE !!!!! WE THE RACERS THINK THAT MOST OF YOU RULES ARE BULL!!!!SAFTY IS FINE ...HORSEPOWER RESTRICTION IS CRAZEE..TUBE CHASSIS /BACK HALF/ UNI BODY SHOULD BE THE CHOICE OF THE RACER...

finally ... havent we seen a unibody single over head cam car run good numbers just like the full tube dohc cars ,,, it should be the racers choice

I most definitly agree with you oldskol. the suits are ruining "our" sport. As racers we must unite fwd/rwd/awd and let the sanctioning bodies(NOPI/NDRA/NHRA/IDRC) know that we do not agree with the rules and that these are the rules we would like to see.

I agree that a racer should choose his/her chassis set up. If you choose to stay unibody and cant compete then tuff. If you go back half and cant compete, tuff. If you go tube chassis and cant work the bugs out, tuff. Or if it works out for, great!

Lets put our differences aside and let the higher ups know how we feel. Lets use the rules that NHRA pro stock use.

Lets just make all motor...run what you brung. an outlaw class-you build your chassis and motor combo...rwd/fwd/awd and slug it out on the 1320. no weight restrictions. If you get yo but kicked, then go back to the drawing board(R-n-D) or bracket race til you can compete with the big boyz!!!!!

Try http://www.jelousysabitch.com. When posting on a technical website, or any website for that matter, there are rules of etiquette for the internet. You should learn these and you will have a lot more luck. Spelling, grammer, punctuation all play an important role as well as just being a nice guy. This is a Technical site not a "bitch" site. I am not discreditting the subject at hand. However why not try "Hey guys here are a few of the rules I don't agree with." "What is your input on this? What rules don't you aggree with?". "How can I go about getting these changed? What has worked for you?" You may jsut get better results.

As of right now most of the rules are for safety so things don't get out of line with crazy off the wall set-up that someone wants to try. Don't worry most bodies are pretty accepting of new development after it's been tested and proven to be a benefit for the series and not a safety hazard or who has the most $$$.

P.S.S. I don't make 250hp, I don't post dyno results of my "new hot ****" and hey why don't you catch me at the next event. I'm between 3 differnt tracks every weekend. They are probably not your "style" though. They are actually legal. You can catch me at ECHC events though.
