Default oil leak

ok, adjusted my valves about 2 weeks ago. still running good but seems to be losing a little oil. i notice it in the front of my bumper and hood. i can't seem to find the leakage though! can it be a blown head gasket?? wouldn't a whole lot of oil come out if that happens?? i have a small leak somewhere. i haven't got new valve cover gasket and o rings yet. can that be the problem??

On your hood and bumper?? Is your oil filler cap on tight? Is it leaking? How about the dipstick?? That's the only way I can think of that it would spray like that. Unless it's over by the belts and is leaking on those, but I think you would know if that was the case since the belts would be slipping like a bitch.

if you just had a valve adjustment done and you've witnessed the leak afterwards, check your valve cover gasket.

common error is not to put spray/seal on the gasket causing it to leak slightly once the cover is off.

check for any leaks while the car is at idle and the hood open near the valve cover.

Your saying to put like liquid gasket/gasket sealer on the rubber gasket??? I made the mistake of putting that stuff on my oilpan gasket and I had to replace it because it leaked. When I asked a mechanic if you are supposed to put it on the rubber gaskets he said not to because it would cause it to not make a good seal and leak.

i've used it on my valve cover gaskets before with no issues. probably a good 5 times with uses totalling 200k.

Same here, it really helps to hold the gasket in place when re-installing as well

do i really need to buy new valve cover gaskets?? i checked and it doesn't seem to be leaking. i might have to check a little closer. i checked the oil and it doesn't seem to be too low. i don't even think it's leaking much at all. if i do need to replace it, where can i find a honda gasket. i heard they were cheaper. i plan on having a h23vtec anyways so a stock gasket will do.
