steel or rubber valves?
I just bought some 16 inch rims and was wondering if i can put in rubber values instead of steel ones? Will there be any problems or will i have to switch to steel ones later?
hey,
i dont understand, valve stem or the dust cap? anyways the steel valve stem wont help or give you any problem, except the hassle of getting them in. usually you take your car in to a tire shop to get valve stem put in, unless you have a tire remover and a valve stem installing tool. steel dust caps, no use to have them they also wont do you any good, jus a waste of money to my opinion.

I say steel stems. Or more specifically, the rubber stems with a steel outer tube. The metal can keep the stem from getting cut, and since it is rubber underneath, it is flexible enough to "bounce back" from an impact. I think there are steel stems that are a solid steel unit (no flex) that could break if hit hard. My only slam on the rubber ones is they could get cut more easily.
