drag manifolds run a t3 flange so yes any t3 will work.

not all housings are physically the same size with every turbo manufacturer so that may be the only thing that doesn't make it fit perfectly. but we're not talking huge modifications to make it fit.

yes youre right, forgot about the flange, problem is i already have the drag manifold and the downpipe but i was considering the super 60 cause it may be better for my application.

The flange on the DP will work on your T3 Super 60 assuming your T3 has an exhaust housing of .63 A/R. I'm not sure if the flange will fit with the other sized housings, but in theory it should. Btw, its a really quick spooling turbo.. you should expect full boost by 2500rpm on a .48 A/R or 3000rpm on .63 A/R.

I would say a T3 Super 60 should be able to run at 23-25 psi with decent efficiency.. here's the compressor map:

Btw, If you wanna figure out what the CFM on a turbo is with a compressor map, you generally would multiply the max lb/min (in this case around 36) and multiply it by 13. This would give you a good estimate on the CFM of the turbo.. The T3 Super 60 should push a max of around 470 cfm.

23-25psi? wow
So does that mean a t3/t4 is overkill?

That's the conclusion I've come to unless you're going to be boosting alot. Why have the extra lag when you can have a turbo that's more efficient. at least on an LS motor.

TurboInteg95,

Ya I remeber reading somewhere you're looking for a .36 T3 exhaust housing? Although I'm not a Honda/Acura owner, I would suggest in something larger.. atleast a .48 with a stage 2 turbine wheel. The LS motor redlines where? Like at 6700rpm or higher? A .48 with the stage 2 should get you boost by 2200rpm. Here's why I think so:

A friend of mine has a Saturn running a T3-Super 60 with a .48 exhaust with stage 2 turbine. He gets boost close to 2200 rpm. Our Satties have a 1.9L but a lower hp rating.. so I'm guessing it pushes out less exhaust than an Teg LS? If so, the more exhaust from your LS should benefit more and help push the turbo to spool quicker.. not sure if that is how it works tho. I do know that if you stick with a T3/T4 hybrid you should be making nice hp with relatively quick boost at low psi on that .48 exhaust.

Btw, he's running on a completely stock car on 5psi producing 191whp and 173ft/lb of torque at 6000 and 5200 respectively. The torque corve is nice and fat.
