How much boost on stock GS-R rods?

Default How much boost on stock GS-R rods?

I have a 96 GS-R with rc injectors, skunk 2 cam gears, and srp pistons, how much can I boost on the stock rods?

i've heard of people making around 350whp on stock blocks.......if it's tuned it should work fine..........but i think anything over like 18psi would deffinately require the rods be replaced if you wanna do it daily

ok, the problem is im waiting for the money to get a vafc and get on the dyno. I was looking into making a manual boost controller to turn up the boost to 9 or 10 pounds. Would that be safe on the stock rods. Once I get it tuned, i know i can up the boost, cant wait.

dont up the boost untill you can tune. and the stock rods will take quite a beating, i belive boosted-hybrid has made upwards of 400+ HP on stock rods, but dont take my word for it, ask him...
