Default what would take more time and money to do, which is more difficult between the two???

taking out and inspecting the clutch and replacing any parts that are worn.

vs.

replacing a timing belt and all the components that affect the belt.

i would say timing belt is easier... since its possible to do it while the engine is still in the car. Clutch on the other hand, you have to drop the tranny, or pull the engine. Why, are you planning on doing the work yourself?

Nah?

was planning on taking it somewhere...just wanted to compare what a new clutch would cost versus something time consuming like a new timing belt...
