Default Help with Greddy turbokit install

I'm hooking up my friends greddy turbokit to his ls. The problem is that when I was putting on the manifold and the downpipe adapter, I forgot which side the studs are suppose to go in. It seems that no matter which way I put them in it still works. I can't remember which way because I did my install like 4 months ago.
Someone please shed some light on this, so I can finish this install before the sun comes up.

Should be pretty self explanitory. Look at the stud. See how there is thread then a gap then more thread starts? Thread the side that has less thread into the manifold. Make sure you use lock tite red

Edit:

See what I mean?

Thanks for the info, but with the downpipe adapter piece the treads will stick to far out when you put it on the turbo. is this okay?

The instuctions I have form greddy is for an Ls and they don't tell me to put those studs there. The studs have to go into the turbo itself and then I bolt on the adapter flange.

thread and tighten studs onto bottom of manifold with the shorter threaded side. do the same with the 5 longer studs into the turbo itself on the exhaust side. put gasket onto mani and attach to turbo with lockwashers and nuts. put gasket on exhaust side and attach adapter with lockwashers and nuts. don't forget to do the oil feed line at some point while assembly is still out of car. makes it alot easier to tighten it down. good luck

Thanks man that is what I was looking for because it is kind of hard to see how I did it on my car when it is already installed. I will finish up my friends car today and tell you guys how it turned out.
