Light Bulbs
What type of buld can I get for a real HID look besides going HID?? Some one told me that the Sylvania Silver Stars are nice, but I dunno any recommendations?? I want the blue HID look. I have a 2001 prelude so I need H1's
You can't get the HID blue look without true HID's. You can get those ghetto **** blue lights at Walmart but IMO they just look gay. Go for the silverstars
They won't be blue but they are much better than OEM lights. They are whiter so you will get the strait on HID look... Sorta... No blue though.

the blue comes from the way the Lens of the HID system bends the light. Driving the car, you'll never see this blue... just a really intense white. Only other people looking at your car will ever see this blue
silverstars are not available for H1 applications.
a lot of "hid look" bulbs out there are very cheesy. they burn out too fast. even piaa's $80 or so bulbs burn out less than 6 months.
i've had toucan's eurolites and they have lasted me 2+ years. it's very white.... with no blue. try to stay with 55w/65w ones.
