Default to use possibly "damaged" cams

just bought some ITR cams..non honda tech related...also purchased the head the cams came out of.

on the head..cam journal was messed up..seller posted this..and i bought it for parts.

but on the ITR cams..on intake cam...grooves where it would meet the journal and cam caps. there's no grooves on the lobes.

but on the ITR exhaust cam. there's a slight slight groove on the first primary lobe.

question is can these cams be used without any problems? any opionions? i'd post pics but cam was recently busted. any help apreciated

I wouldn't take teh chance without letting a machine shop work them up first

have a machine shop smooth it out and debur it so you don't have any issues later.....
