VMSC Autocross 8/24

Modified a bit from the VMSC Website:

"August 24th "Slingshot" AutoX:
Online registration is now open.

This autocross will be at Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP) in Dinwiddie, VA. The first car will start at 12pm, and we usually finish by 5:30pm. Cars start every 30 seconds, and each driver gets four runs. Spectators are welcome. Just be sure to stop by the registration desk to sign a waiver and get a wristband. Check out our schedule for more events."

I will be co-OD and can assure that the course will be fast, fun and safe! If you haven't run a VMSC event in a while, this will be a great event. Bill Lloyd (FS Z-28) and myself will be designing a fast, flowing course. Sign up online today!

8/24 VMSC Registration

 

I'd hit it, y0! That is, if I were still here... Bump for what will be a fun event!

 

I wish I could make it out, but I'll be recovering from the Bristol night race on the 23rd.

 

No DC event scheduled that weekend... I think I'll be there!!!

Unfortunately, I won't make it... I already volunteered to be a wrench-turner for the slant-eyed red turnip that day. I really would have liked to see what kind of course could come out of that twisted mind of yours.

Sorry you won't be able to make it. Bill is mainly designing it, but we usually think alike. I hope to have a say in some of the design elements, mainly I want a long high speed 10 cone or so slalom and some 50MPH offset gates.

 

It was a great day to autocross. We had 127 people and everyone seemed to love the course. Check out the pics here:
