Skunk2 D-series intake manifold pics...
Got my hands on one of these and snapped some pics, and yes the runners are loooong, my digy-cam lens isn't distorting the way the manifold looks at all:

High RPM was the goal of the straighter runners compared to the curved ones of the Y8. It is similar to an ITR design. As for even more high RPM power, shorter runners are better.

yeah it is. lol....
ok, so my wide angle lens distorts the edge of the pic a little bit.
The runners do look long like seen, in real life tho.
slvrcivic97,
they range from $250-270 I believe. Depends on who you buy it from.

Speaking of longer runner on D-series manifolds. I noticed the new Edelbrock Turbo kit includes a intake manifold with longer runners like this. I imagine there are designed for low restriction and increasing velocity.
We got one in the shop today and it doesnt look that long in person. Will fit very nicely and comes with all the needed taps and plugs for vacum lines and hoses. Very nice manifold. I dont like the whole american flag deal though. ha. I cant wait till we get the H22 one. Weve got one on the way as soon as they are realease. Wo hoo.
