in tank fuel pumps
can someone tell me how hard it is to install a walbro 255lph intank fuel pump into a 5th gen accord vtec? i'm running a h22a with t3 turbo kit.
Also, will the tranny from the f22a hold up to 7psi to the 7700rpm redline?
Thanks

you have to drop the tank from under the car, then its pretty easy to just swap the pump. make sure its pretty low on gas.
the h22 transmissions dont even like numerous hard red line shifts... so the f22 transmission wont hold up longer or anything.

I'm pretty sure you have to drop the tank to get at the fuel pump. There was a big thread on here from a guy who did the exact same thing (walbro pump), I'm pretty sure he had a 5th gen.
Tis a shame, since the fuel sending unit is so easy to get at

I dont know how much but im pretty sure its lower than the actual pump for the h22a. But on the other hand its stock and old expect a problem yaknow. I dropped mine this monday its hard perhaps if your in the area ill do it for you. Mine was a nightmare disconnect this unplug that and then droppin the tank and then putting back up phew.
Outta all that I had it bad I had half a tank of gas when I performed this procedure. On top of that one wire snapped and my fathers jack was a piece of crap so every ten second I would have to jack it back up. And it was on a 4th gen but its worth it later on for turbo ,nitrous.
