Default Anybody had Specialty Products parts?

I'm shopping for a friend for camber kits on a civic HB. I found this Specialty Products kit for a decent price. Never heard about these people though, just wondered how they worked for anyone else. I would tell him to just play it safe and go Ingalls. But he's working on a very limited budget (and driving on very limited tires, so this alignment problem has to be fixed soon).
Thanks for any help
Travis

I never heard of em. Ingalls are a good idea. You don't want to mess around with cheap stuff when it comes to a camer kit. Ingalls on ebay are pretty reasonable or look on http://www.thepartstrader.com People are always selling used camber kts on there for good prices...good luck!

I have had there rear camber kit (turnbuckle style like Ingals) on my car for over a year. No problems. Looks like really good stuff. Much better parts quality than the ingals kit. I did need to buy longer bolt to hold it into the body though. If you get a rear camber kit, definitely get longer bolts.

SPC is the original and the best Aligment company manufacturer. all those other ones liek INGALS, etc.. are all copies.

SPC has the most applications for all the reg cars out there as well.

check our site for the HONDA/ACura applications

I agree with (exospeed) ... The Specialty Products 3 degree honda adj. ball joints are what im using and they work great. Easy to Adjust too!! Go to http://www.specprod.com Part #67320.

I have the SPC balljoints on my CRX, i love them man! its so easy to adjust, you dont even have to take off your tire. Just jack the car up with the tire on, the weight of the tire will bring the suspension down enough so that you can access the adjustment nut on top of the upper A-Arm. All you gotta do is loosen it, adjust, then retorque it to 95 lbs and itll stay put. Ive gone over really nasty bumps, dips, everything, and havent lost adjustment.

I've got the adj. balljoints and I haven't had any problems with them. I'd buy them again.

got the car lined up yesterday and man what a difference ! this thing rides better than it ever has in 12 years of ownership. i had the guy set it at 1/2 neg in the front and 1/2 in the rear and it handles better than my 96 300z did.

Sounds good man... 1/2 neg in the front and back? When i got my alignment done after getting my kits put in and everything, i wasn't sure what to get it set to... so i just had them do zero in the front and back. Figured that i would play it safe as far as tirewear goes. Will 1/2 deg neg camber make any difference? It's not like the car handles badly or anything... It's amazing how i can run up on people on long curved on and offramps etc. And it's a freakin blast to go bomb curvy back roads. I wonder how bad that will be for your tires. Hopefully not bad enought to notice.
thanks for the help
