Default $%*&@! stupid clutch year changes

O.K. this is really starting to **** me off I'm trying to order a new clutch for my B16 YS-1 LSD trans. I have mic.ed the input shaft and it come up as 1". Now I counted the splines on the shaft and counted 24. I hear if you have a 1" shaft it's 90'-91' and if it's 1 1/2" shaft it's 92' + integra clutch. Here's the F***ed part. I have a friend at a shop he has three transmissions at his shop. A S1 out of a 90' integra , a YS-1 from a B16 and a 95 ' GS-R trans. He mic.ed all three shafts and they came up with the same numbers and all three trans have 24 splines. WTF ? My friend has the same motor trans. I do it's a OBD1 B16 with a cable trans and he used a 92'-93' teg. clutch and he said it worked fine. This makes no sense that there different trans that are three different years all have the same mesurments. What car do I get my stupid clutch for ?
