Default HyTech exhaust system installed, pics inside!

These are pictures that Vagoitr was kind enough to send to me the pictures of his complete HyTech system installed he was John's test dummy, so he has the prototype installed on his car...I happen to have just the header at the moment.

The cat that is installed is from Random Technologies, John told me that he used this cat because he felt that the Carsound 54006 cat that TypeR_126 had sent him was too small, he needed something that would have a higher flow, so he went with a much larger Random cat.

Hope you all enjoy.
Austin

I believe that this connector is a marmot clamp design...which makes it very easy to take off

WOW!!!
no resonator anywhere?
is it loud or just rumbly?
screamer or stormer?
looks like some nice fit and finish, those clamp assemblies look/work great.

again, WOW!

Not loud at all...I have the Comptech cat-back currently installed on my car and my car is louder than Vagoitr's car with this exhaust installed...it was at the EXPO and it had a nice mellow sound.

Nice exhaust! How's it sound? Noticable power gains?

BTW: Why are the rear directional tires mounted the wrong way?

I have been told that the complete system will run around $2000, it is indeed 2.5 ID all the way back...
BTW that connector is indeed a marmont clamp and will not be used in the final product...it cost John $100 just for the connector There cool connectors, but not that cool.

WOW!

Gotta start saving and hiding money from my fiancee!

I guess the twin loop design is enough to keep noise levels reasonable? Does having no resonators help flow a lot, I imagine it would! Hopefully there is some kind of package deal to get the whole thing, hehe. Not sure I'll be able to swing that, unless I win the lottery...

Take care,

From what I've been told it includes the header, cat, and exhaust...but we'll have to wait for John for final pricing, I informed him that I posted the pics...so we'll have to wait for him to make an appearance.

Anyone know if there will be a Hytech exhaust system available for the 6gen Civic? That exhaust is simply beautiful, I want one.
