New Greddy SP2 cat back exhaust
GReddy Performance Products, Inc. is proud to announce the GReddy SP2. The best GReddy street exhaust system just gets better!
It wasn’t easy to improve on the popular GReddy SP system. This advanced bolt-on cat-back system scored big with performance enthusiasts and tuners with features like a straight-through muffler design, a large volume, free flow canister, under 95 dBa sound output, large smooth mandrel-bent piping, O.E. style mounting points and legendary GReddy quality, sound and performance. But through customer feedback from over 10 years of use and testing, GReddy redesigned the SP with all the upgrades you’d expect from a premier performance product manufacturer.
The new GReddy SP2 systems are full stainless steel cat-back exhaust systems and are similarly priced to original SP systems. The new SP2 features a 304 stainless steel muffler canister with extra strong 430 SS end caps that feature a deep, high polish. Large, high volume mufflers provide maximum flow with a deep, pleasing tone and are especially effective when used on vehicles with aftermarket turbocharger systems. The unique outer curled oval tip (115 x 110mm dia.). is embossed with the famous GReddy logo. Employing state-of-the-art robotic seam welding, the single wall canisters feature increased rigidity for maximum durability and life. With over 35 types of internal perforated tubes, each SP2 application is specifically tuned for the best combination of sound and performance.
The new SP2 also features thick walled (1.5mm), polished 304 stainless steel mandrel bent piping for better resonance and vibration control and enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. New lightweight, flared and stamped stainless steel flanges are also used to provide improved sealing characteristics.
The GReddy SP2 Exhaust System will initially be available for over 50 popular Japanese vehicles with more to come as they are developed.
GReddy Performance Products is recognized throughout the United States and Asia as a premier performance component manufacturer. GReddy has been producing products for professional motorsports and high performance street applications since 1977 and distributing their quality products to U.S. automotive and racing enthusiasts since1994 through their North American headquarters based in Irvine, California.

I'v been looking for a new exhaust to replace my Evo and this just might be the ticket. Does anyone know when the street date is?

I know the feeling.
You'd think they would have to update their website pretty soon. I'm sure they'll have a release date.

Wow. You just named what I feel to be two of the best looking exhausts out there. Just shows you can't go by opinions on these boards. Especially on looks/sound.

i agree wit kendogg on this one... the rolled tip on the sp2 looks odd. and depending how low ur car is, that resonator looks like its just waiting to catch something up off da floor.
I have friends that have had the sp and were pleased... so i don't think the sp2 will be any big dissappointment, but i'm happy with my evo.

We just ordered some here in Ohio, that shipped out Friday the 1st, so our shop expects them to arrive on Thurs. If you want to order check out http://www.passenmotorsports.com . I hate to spam, but I am also giving worthwhile information.

I personally don't like the tip, but i'm glad to see Greddy updating their products to keep up with all the other companies.
I will continue to enjoy my Evo
