well, i want this hood...bad. i went to a local shop around here, and they said they won't order anything from VIS (as far as hoods go). they said that they all cloud within a few months. truth to this anybody? opinions on VIS ZC cf hoods?

i've been looking around and cannot find any ZC cf hoods, other than the ones VIS sells...hmmm.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've had my VIS CF ZC Hood for a year and a half and it looks just like the day I got it. I highly recommend them.

 

I had a vis invader hood, for at least two years and it still looks new.

 

hmmm, i hate it when i hear both great AND horrible things about a company...dammit.

 

I think I may have your answer. My friend tried to get a VIS hood a couple months ago. The place he got it from said VIS moved their warehouse and you can't get any hoods for a while. So perhaps they still haven't gone into production again and are either really backordered.

 

My friend has a CF ZC hood from ViS, prolly been over a year now, still looks really nice. Ive have my ViS OEM style hood for about, maybe 2 months now and it still looks as great as it did when i bought it brand new. That shop prolly doesnt wanna sell you a ViS hood because they wanna sell you some other type of hood that they carry. Lots of shops will do this to make more money, they might have a factory make them CF hoods for like 150 bucks, then turn around n sell it for like 300 to you, and say that ViS is crap so they can sell you theirs
