CRX car covers?
I'm not looking for anything fancy, OEM, or expensive. However, I will be parking my rex outside from now on and I need some sort of cover since I'm missing windows and whatnot. Does anyone use one of the cheaper AutoZone or Pep Boys covers that run around $40? What size did you get? I'm assuming I need the smallest one they make, but I wonder how well they fit. My rex will sit for weeks at a time, so it would be nice if it stayed in place without much hassle. Thanks for any info.
I have a California Car cover. Its kinda pricey, but it does what i need it to do. (Potect the car from sucky weather)
The OEM ones look nice, but thats about it. They are not water resitant and they leave blue crap all over your car. Yes I know, because I have one for my 4dr.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I really don't care if it scratches the paint or if it fits perfectly. I just need something to cover it up with that's easier to use than a square tarp. WalMart by my house didn't stock any size 1's. Maybe they'll special order something. Autozone and all those places also didn't stock the smallest size, so I can't even try it out first. That's why I'm asking, since I'll have to special order it.

This is odd, because I was just watching in info commercial about this one car cover. It whines up in a nice case and takes about 60 seconds to put on, let me try to find a link. I can't find it, it might be on tonight so I'll get the website if it is.

You can buy Honda OEM for about $122 or take your pick from California Car Cover.
just fyi, a cover for the civic hatch works very well for the crx, just leaves a bit extra area above the crx hatch area, as expected. i do have a oem cover for a civic, thats how i know. i know youre not lookinf for oem, just in case you were wondering if something made for the civic hatch would fit.
Thanks for all the input, guys. I'm hoping to spend under $50 for the cover, universal or not. It's basically just to keep crap out of the car since I don't have driver's side glass and I don't want to draw too much attention to it on the trailer. I think I'm going in search of the super small size at some local places mentioned above, and then I'll try that ebay link.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
i picked one up from autozone it's a universal fit, i think they had like a small medium and large car size, they ran out of the small so i got the medium and glad i did. with the medium i am able to cover the whole car even the wheels which hides it better from thieves
overall i'm happy, only complaints is that it is not water proof , it will, however keep the water from pouring, cheap too, i think around 25-30 bucks

Really? Medium? Do you have a pic of it on the car? I would like to cover my wheels. That might not be a bad idea. Does it fit snugly enough?

Hah, hah! I hope it wasn't too much trouble. You could have waited to heal first! Anyway, thanks for the picture. That's pretty much what I'm looking for (covering wheels and all). Since the car sits on the trailer, there's plenty of room to tuck extra material under the car. So I guess that most car covers fit more snugly and don't cover the wheels?
Anyway, thanks for risking life (and limb!) to help me out
