Default OT: How To Package a Turbo Kit to Hawaii

As you guys know I just sold my kit, etc. I was bored so I decided to take pics of the steps with the packaging.

Enjoy - Fred

Get a Box from Uhaul

Tape Up the bottom

Line the bottom with nice thick formula insulation from Home Depot

I put the turbo in bubble wrap and in a separate box with the peanuts

Added the manifold

Added the downpipe adapter and lots more peanuts

Added the downpipe and added more support so it wont go through the box

Added more peanuts and Greddy Instructions

Added another piece on top, so its a nice fit

Tape it up and your done!

nah, but im in NY and some locations in HI only have Next day Air, but I called Fed Ex and they actually have grond service to this address. So with insurance and all that I think (from there online quote) its coming out to be $55.00-60.00 Remember Greddy pieces are cast, so they have weight, and that's why I took my time making sure nothing breaks cause I know those guys have no respect for other peoples property.

I wonder if Aaron saw the post yet?

Ok, I'm on the big isle too. Yea Fedex shipping is great because they allow their ground shipping option to here unlike UPS.

I've actually gotten stuff faster than that via ground shipping with FedEx. Very fast service. The only thing that sucks is their tracking service. I dunno if it's just my stuff, but most times it's not really updated. At least the estimated date of delivery is usually right on.
