my gas pedal sometimes won't go down all the way but only in first gear....and after i shift into second it is fine....have no frekin idea what the deal is with that...and my car also has a random stutter every once and awhile just cruisin along in 5th gear....just like a little jolt like it loses power and then back on...kinda weird

 

If it doesnt go all the way down, check if the throttle cable is kinked somewhere. Also check if there's something lodged in the throttle body that is getting in the way of the butterfly.

check your timing. If it's off, you could be detonating. ( spark is coming at the wrong time) It'll cause the car to run incorrectly.

 

throttle cable appears to be fine but i haven't checked but i haven't checked the throttle body yet but i'll do that today
