i recently did the mini me swap. i used my old dist and old ecu. all SI stuff not DX. i wired a switch for vtec just temporarily. the problem is that when i "hit the switch" my car will either not react at all or it will bog slightly then come back. i tried doing it at all rpms. i know my vtec solenoid is working because i hear it when the engine is off and i flip the switch. the vtec solenoid is also clean however i do not know for sure if it is good. anyone else have a clue about how to fix this
