new clutch: feels weird
it's supposedly to be a high performance clutch kit, 5 piece modified pressure plate, 6 puck sprung disk, new throw out bearing
It feels weird. instead of being stiff, the clutch feels very soft, softer than stock clutch I had. I thought it suppose to be stiff? It suppose to brand new and I was told I need to break in for 300~500 miles. And I need to "slip the clutch", what ever that means. But, when I start in first gear, while stepping on gas and letting go of clutch, it viberates... is this normal?

clutch chatter is very normal for the break-in procedure. Thats why they say to slip the clutch so it doesnt juke so hard. Another thing you may want to do is bleed the clutch line since the pressure might be different. Be gentle for the first 500 miles or so and it will lengthen its life plenty. Enjoy barkin' 1-4 gears. -=o)
i just installed my exedy racing clutch today . . . everything that could go wrong went wrong . . everythings cool now though . . it seems like it engages nicely . . i cant wait to bark 4th haha

there's a line that comes out right in front of the pass. side headers. loosen that bolt will flush out your fluid. to fill it back up takes awhile. you have to tighten the line, add fliud and pump the clutch. loosen, pump, loosen, pump. so you get all that old fluid out. i think that's how it's done.
another question: how bad is the jitter is suppose to be? what does it feel like? it shakes pretty bad for me, feels like engine is about to stall but slightly different in a way that I can't explain. And it's not really about to stall because I never had this feeling until I replaced the clutch/disc
I would be suprised if the info is not in the helms...
I really mean no offence with this, but if you are unfamilure with something that I would call "routine"... why are you installing a sprung 6puck?

I checked the clutch section under transaxle, couldn't get identical information about bleeding the slave cylinder for adjustment. This is my first manual transmission car, I am unfamilar with some of these stuff. In fact, I don't even know what's a sprung 6 puck, what's wrong with it?
When I put my ACT-XTSS in it was way stiffer then stock. You could totally tell a diffrence however 3 months down the road a blew my tranny with it but it was sweet up until then. Now i have an ITR clutch and it was still a little bit stiffer then my stock ls clutch.

there's nothing wrong with your car. you should have done some research on the clutch before you bought it. a 6 pluck clutch and a heavy duty pressure plate isn't meant to engage smoothly. it's meant to catch quick and hold like a mother.
if the clutch feels soft then you should try bleeding your clutch line. you go about it the same way you would if you were to bleed you brakes. the bleeding valve look like the one on your breaks but its attached to the front of your transmission you can't miss it.

I know where it is, I'll get it done over the weekend and I was just wondering about the jitter, seems too much when at about 2000 rpm with the clutch engaged at about 1/4
I’m not sure exactly witch brand clutch you have but if it's a 6 pluck I’m sure it's probably made of a copper ceramic material. These clutches are made mainly for semi-race use, 300hp range (not daily driven friendly) it's not going to give you the smooth engagement you had with the stock clutch. It’s like a light switch on or off. And since your engine is reving kinda low, your car is gonna struggle (like trying to drive 20mph on 5th gear). You’ve got to learn to reving a little higher and engaging your clutch quicker. Or getting a new clutch that compliments your mods.
