Default ... tire recommendations for daily driven street use and occasional track use...

((... i did a search... a couple of the better links are listed at the bottom...))

... i am looking for some thoughts/recommendations on a set of street tires... this is for a daily driver that will see the track about once a month... my setup is b18c1 with forged internals and t3/60-1... also, like i said it is daily driven at about 30-50 miles per day... lastly, i wanna spend $100 or less per tire... anyways, here is a list of what i found while searching... as you can see, the list gets long... so if you guys could help me narrow it down, that would be great... thanks...

bfg drag radials - bridgestone s03 - azenis sport - nitto nt555R - yokohama A520 -
kumhoc ecsta supra - toyo t1-s - yokohama parada spec2 - bridgestone potenza - re910/s-03 - bfg g-force kd - yokohama ao32r

i just picked up a set of Toyo RA-1 's today...
they seem pretty good so far, handling is very crisp and they hook like a **** during hard acceleration

I'll hafta agree with MASE, I just got a set of ES100's and they 0wn big time and they seem to be wearing quite nicely. Great lateral traction as well.

The bfgs radials will hook the best, but yes thier lifetime is short. Iv'e had the 555r's before and they lasted me 9k miles and this was going to street races regularly. I give them a

Mase i caught that too, the stickier the tire the more rocks that will stick. Have you ever looked at some slicks in action at the track? Perfect example

I hear ya there....but for a street tire it is.....for a track tire, well, most of use can't daily drive sticky tires that need to get changed after 200 miles.

I haven't tried the ES100 yest, but I have been running Azenis on a 215/45/16, and I love them. I did a copuple canyon runs in cali up and down the hill and taking corners like I am commiting suicide ( I was testing quaife ) and they held up really really well...plus I like the way they look on 215/45.

I pulled a 2.0 60ft on those tires, cold at the track on 16's

does anyone know if 225/45/16's will fit an integra that is lowered about 2.0 inches with eibach sportlines.. I dont want to roll my fenders and still want to be able to make full lock turns... These will be going on konig rated r rims.. I am about to start shopping for a set of nitto drag radials so i figured..wider is better, if i cant do 225's without major problems then i'll probably do 215's
