Default Pics of LeMans races, Realtime Type R's and a LHD Skyline from PIR....

These were all from Sunday at Portland International Raceway, no the skyline is not a photoshop, I couldn't believe it with my own eyes myself. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy. We saw both the speedvision cup and the American LeMans, it was a lot of fun. If the LeMans ever comes near you do yourself a favor and check it out!!!

Nice pics...You must have been sitting right next to me for the speedvision cup race (pile up in the festivals pic)
Left hand-drive Skyline, I couldn't figure that one out...

I talked to the owner and he sells them and is partners with motorex, you can get on of those out the door for 57k with the left hand drive conversion he said, it was pretty sweet.

why did the RealTimes get hammered?

it's good to see Taz podium and almost win it. I heard Sapp went wide on turn 9 on the last lap and Taz could've pulled a Kleinubing and punt his way to a win but chose to race like a pro. Congrats Taz on the second.

Yeah, I when I was at the race I was expecting to see better positions from the Realtime R's. Seemed like they were just getting walked all over by the BMW's there. Must've been the track though. I mean in the LeMans race, Panoz broke Audi's 11 win streak. I guess anything could've happened that day. Any of you guys know anything about the GT class BMW's??? From what another spectator said they use a prototype V8 that rev's to 16k!!! I can't confirm that though other than they sounded like indy cars going by and couldn't idle worth squat when we were in the pit area.

SCCA has been continuously been doing everything they can to slow the Acuras down. So this is the result. Can you imagine what would happen if the ITRs suddenly got 300 lbs. lighter and lost their air restrictors? What if they got to run higher compression as well like they did in the past? I imagine they would be doing pretty good.

Yeah, I think those are the wheels some of them had, another one that I saw had a set of white Volk TE-37's. If I remember right, they might have had all different kinds of wheels.

They use both. Most use the TE-37 15" for the rain.

Depends on the driver.
