Default deck plate

WAS WONDERING WHAT WILL THIS DO ON A B16A AND HOW DOES IT WORK AND WHAT DOES IT DO TO THE MOTOR. :honda 2:

dont waste your time or $$ on putting a deckplate on a B16 block.

it is used so you can increase stroke and/or retain a good rod ratio. pretty complicated.not recomended for a street car.only a few shops can do it right.

well..i would rather DeckPlate is B16 block then a B18A/B block IF i were changing the Crank as well..because then you wouldnt have to worry about an oil line for the head (sorry Tech43, your lines are the best but i rather not deal with any lines at all )

I'd rather deckplate a b16 then a b18 block as well. Golden eagle will give you a 1" deckplate instead of a 5/8", so that your motor will have the same deckhieght as a deckplated b18a...

or you can get a b18a block and run a b16 sized deckplate! If i want that, I have one for sale!
